What Is ICBC Active Rehab?

ICBC Active Rehab is a kinesiologist-led rehabilitation program designed to help individuals recover from injuries sustained in motor vehicle accidents. Whether you’re dealing with whiplash, back pain, joint stiffness, or any other injury, our goal is to guide you through the recovery process using safe, effective, and evidence-based practices.

ICBC allows pre-approved clients to start their active rehab journey immediately—no doctor’s referral is required (although it is recommended). Clients are typically pre-approved for up to 12 rehab sessions within the first 12 weeks following the accident.

Initial Assessment

Your journey begins with a thorough Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). This assessment helps us understand the root causes of your pain and mobility issues, ensuring we develop a treatment plan that addresses your specific needs.

Our Approach to ICBC Active Rehab

At Kenaz Training, we follow a structured, research-backed approach to rehabilitation. Here’s what you can expect:

Customized Treatment Plan

Based on the findings from your assessment, we’ll create a tailored program designed to help you recover quickly and safely. Our kinesiologists will work with you through every stage of your rehab, adjusting the plan as you progress.

Targeted Exercises for Recovery

Our active rehab sessions focus on exercises that strengthen muscles, improve flexibility, and restore your body’s full range of motion. We ensure that each exercise is suited to your injury and progression, aiming for long-lasting results.

Ongoing Support

Throughout your rehabilitation, our team will provide continuous support, guidance, and encouragement. We’ll monitor your progress closely and make necessary adjustments to your plan to ensure you’re moving toward your recovery goals.
