What Is ICBC Active Rehab?

ICBC Active Rehab is a kinesiologist-led recovery program that helps individuals rehabilitate from motor vehicle accident injuries. Whether you’re experiencing whiplash, back pain, or other musculoskeletal issues, our approach uses therapeutic exercises to aid in your recovery. ICBC pre-approves 12 active rehab sessions within the first 12 weeks after your accident, allowing you to begin treatment without a doctor's referral (though a referral is recommended).

Our Approach to ICBC Active Rehab in Surrey

At Kenaz Training, we prioritize a structured, evidence-based approach to recovery, ensuring that each program is customized for the best results. Here’s how we work:

In-Depth Initial Assessment

Your recovery journey starts with a Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). This evaluation helps us identify the root causes of your discomfort and allows us to create a detailed rehabilitation plan specific to your needs.

Customized Treatment Plan

Following your assessment, our kinesiologists will develop a tailored rehab program focusing on improving your strength, mobility, and function. This plan is designed to address your injury directly, promoting a safe and effective recovery.

Focused Rehabilitation Exercises

Our rehab sessions include targeted exercises that are chosen based on your condition. These exercises aim to improve flexibility, enhance your range of motion, and build strength, all while reducing pain.

Continuous Support and Progress Monitorin

We provide ongoing support, regularly tracking your progress and adjusting your rehabilitation plan as needed to ensure that you continue making improvements. Our goal is your long-term health and well-being.
